I’m a Northern Michigan photographer with a love for capturing life’s most meaningful moments. My passion for photography started young, inspired by my dad, who was a nature photographer. I’d watch in awe as he captured vivid macro images of butterflies or bald eagles in their element. That sense of wonder never left me, and now I’m out here capturing meaningful moments for couples and families.
My Approach
People often tell me they feel calm and comfortable during our sessions, and I think that’s because I bring my full self to every shoot. With a background in teaching elementary school and a deep connection to yoga, I know how to guide people naturally and create a space where they feel at ease. Whether it’s capturing candid moments of a family exploring the dunes or helping a professional find their best angle, I love helping my clients relax and enjoy the experience.
What I Photograph
Over the years, I’ve honed my skills in many types of photography. From elopements and weddings, to family gatherings and senior adventures that celebrate milestones, to headshots and branding sessions for professionals and small businesses—every session is a chance to tell a unique story. You’ll find me hiking Sleeping Bear Dunes for a sunset proposal one day and snapping professional headshots at Studio North in downtown Traverse City the next.
