Capturing Family Bliss: A Tale of Two At-Home Sessions
In the cozy embrace of home, where laughter echoes through the halls, and love is palpable in every corner, I had the privilege of photographing two remarkable families.
Bekah and Allen, along with their two precious girls, showed me around their home near downtown Traverse City. We started on their front porch, basking in the soft, golden light of a perfect day. Then, we ventured to a trail starting in their backyard, crafting memories in the dappled sunlight of the pines. This family’s journey with me began with indoor maternity photos, filled with finger painting and creative joy.
The second family, Lindsey and Jonathon, rejoicing in the arrival of their beautiful baby girl, invited me to the place they said their “I do’s” just two years ago. Their lakeside cottage in Frankfort became the backdrop for our session, and later, we crossed the road to capture the glistening beauty of Crystal Lake.
