Ribbon Cutting Ceremony with Traverse Connect

I had the pleasure of photographing the ribbon-cutting ceremony for Hearth Sauna, a significant milestone marking the official opening of their wood-fired sauna at their new location in Mount Holiday, Traverse City. The event was a vibrant celebration, filled with the warmth of the sauna and the excitement of the community.

Exploring the New Sauna Space

The sauna at Mount Holiday is not just about relaxation; it’s a complete experience. With an extra-large sauna, a changing room, a shower, two cold plunge tanks, and an outdoor seating area, it offers everything you need for a rejuvenating visit. On another day, my friends and I explored the scenic trails around Mount Holiday and enjoyed the sauna and cold plunge tanks. The 36-degree plunge was invigorating and left us feeling refreshed. I think my visit to Hearth Sauna was a fantastic community experience combining sauna and cold therapy.

Connecting with Local Business Owners

One of the aspects I love most about my job is connecting with local business owners. Capturing the spirit of their businesses through photography is always rewarding. The owners of Hearth Sauna are passionate about their work and the benefits it brings to the community. It was an honor to capture their excitement and dedication.
