As the year comes to a close, I’m taking a moment to reflect on an incredible season filled with love, nerves, surprises, and unforgettable reactions. This year alone, I had the honor of capturing 32 proposals, bringing my total to over 100 proposals photographed across the breathtaking landscapes of Northern Michigan. From private beaches to the dunes of Empire, Mission Point Lighthouse to the Grand Traverse Resort, every proposal has been as unique as the love stories behind them.
Memorable Moments from the Year
Each proposal holds its own magic. Some guys went all out, planning elaborate picnics complete with champagne at the Grand Traverse Resort. Others kept things simple and secret, their nerves adding to the charm of the moment. I’ve guided couples through surprise sunrise proposals at Esch Road Beach, planned photo-perfect sessions in Glen Arbor, and captured heartfelt moments on private docks. No two proposals are alike, and that’s what makes this work so special.
