Ryan's Picture-Perfect Proposal at Black Star Farms

This weekend, I had the honor of photographing Ryan’s beautifully planned proposal to Paige at the enchanting Black Star Farms in Suttons Bay, and I can’t wait to share some of my favorite moments with you.

Ryan had a dreamy picnic proposal in mind, and he knew just where to turn to make it a reality. He teamed up with TC Picnic Co, masters of crafting premium pop-up picnic experiences. With a carefully chosen spot at Black Star Farms and a thoughtfully curated color palette, TC Picnic Co worked their magic to set the stage for this special moment.

The result? A stunning picnic setup complete with exquisite flowers and those ever-so-charming “Marry Me” letters. Baby’s breath blooms added a delicate touch, creating an atmosphere that was nothing short of romantic. Of course, a toast with Black Star’s finest wine was in order to celebrate this milestone.

Despite the hustle and bustle of a busy Saturday at the winery, Ryan and Paige found their own slice of paradise, tucked away in a world of their own. We strolled through the picturesque grounds, from the orchards to the meadows and the tranquil fountain.
