Kim and Matt Snowy Engagement Session in Yosemite
Kim and Matt are passionate about life. They’re super goofy and they make each other laugh all the time. I love these two and I had so much fun photographing them. Not to mention, I was able to meet them in the epic Yosemite National Park. Oh yeah, and it snowed! What more could you ask for?
Kim and Matt live in California. Kim is an amazing wedding photographer in the Lake Tahoe area and Matt works as a paramedic. Kim contacted me a while back about photographing her engagement session and I was pumped. What an honor! And I was thrilled that everything fell into place when my winter road trip took me to the West Coast. Kim and Matt were more than happy to meet me in in Yosemite National Park.
It’s been an intense winter in Yosemite and many of the trails were closed. Luckily, I was able to scout out a beautiful scenic hike overlooking the valley above Tunnel View. And on the day of the engagement I was super excited to capture some falling snow with Kim and Matt right at the tippy top. This made for some pretty epic photos overlooking Yosemite National Park. Later on, El Capitan was a beautiful backdrop as the sun set behind the mountain. Then things got a little too cold, so we headed to my local favorite Happy Burger in downtown Mariposa. Thanks Kim and Matt for meeting up with me on this epic winter adventure in Yosemite.
