As a Traverse City local, one of my favorite things about this time of year is capturing families in the magic of the season. Recently, I had the pleasure of photographing my friend Bekah, her husband Alan, and their two adorable daughters at a charming Christmas Tree Farm. It was a heartwarming session filled with playful moments in the snow as they picked out their family tree. The knee high deep snow brought out the joy and laughter in their little ones. Moments like these are why I love winter sessions—they truly capture the spirit of the season.
Another recent session took me to Clinch Park and downtown Traverse City. I had the chance to photograph a lovely family enjoying the festive atmosphere. We explored the beautifully decorated Christmas Tree downtown and made the most of the snowy backdrop. In just 45 minutes, we had enough time for family photos, individual portraits of the kids, and even a few romantic couple shots.
